From the chemicals in various products to the dust\n\n\n\n        created, caution should be used to make sure everyone in the home stays healthy and safe. Even bringing something as simple as\n\n\n\n        plywood or new furniture can expose people in the home to chemicals such as <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/dph\/pdf\/formaldefaq.pdf\" title=\"PDF version of Formaldehyde document\">formaldehyde<\/a> \n\n\n\n      <\/p><em><strong>What you can do&#8230;<\/strong><\/em>\n\n\n\n      <ul>\n\n\n\n        <li>Educate yourself about the materials to be used as part of any renovating or remodeling project.\n\n\n\n        <\/li>\n\n\n\n        <li>Try to use low volatile organic compound (VOC) and low odor products when available.\n\n\n\n          <ul>\n\n\n\n            <li>Paints and adhesives are now more commonly available in low odor or low VOC formulas.
