This shift will entail several policy updates to the program. Key changes include the introduction of newly formatted patient and caregiver applications, available both online and on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><br>\n\n\n\nAdditionally, because of the new purchase options for patient cards, beginning January 1, 2025, the Medical Marijuana Program will no longer accept Low-Income Charge Requests for reduced application fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><br>\n\n\n\nWe recognize that these changes may affect some individuals and families. Please know that we remain dedicated to supporting our community&#8217;s needs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this transition.<br>\n\n\n\n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2>Health Care Practioner Patient Certifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>There has been a change to the type of Health Care Practitioner that can certify patients for the Medical Marijuana Program.\u00a0 <strong>Advanced Practice Registered Nurses<\/strong> and <strong>Physician Assistants<\/strong> are now authorized to certify patients for the Medical Marijuana Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Effective July 1, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The Delaware Medical Marijuana Program will add a mobile ID card which you will be able to access from any mobile phone. The MMP will continue to issue hard ID cards for the card holders who do not wish to use their phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>You must be registered in the Medical Marijuana System before you can access your mobile ID card. Please go to <a href=\"https:\/\/delaware.biotrackthc.net\/patients\/actions\/\"><u>https:\/\/delaware.biotrackthc.net\/patients\/actions\/<\/u><\/a> and click on \u201cNEW PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS\u201d to complete your registration. You will need a valid email to successfully register. Once you complete the registration you will receive a confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>First Step is to log into <a href=\"https:\/\/delaware.biotrackthc.net\/patients\/actions\/\"><u>https:\/\/delaware.biotrackthc.net\/patients\/actions\/<\/u><\/a> from your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>After logging into the system you will be directed to the \u201cOWN APPLICATIONS\u201d screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>In the upper right corner of the screen you will see an icon with three lines, click on this icon. After clicking on the three line icon you will see four more icons to include your name. The icons are the mobile ID, Limit Meter, Notifications and logout. Click on the first icon which looks like an ID card. Your Mobile ID will appear on your screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>##########<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>At the last Medical Marijuana Oversight Committee meeting, committee members discussed and voted on a new application fee structure which will be implemented on 1 July 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul>\n\n\n\n <li>New and renewal patient applications $50.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n <li>New and renewal caregiver applications $50.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n <li>Employee $125.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n <li>Low Income $25.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The Low Income Application Charge will be determined utilizing 138% of the Federal Poverty Level. If your gross household income is at or below 138%, your application fee will be $25.00. The new <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/dph\/pdf\/mmpfeewaiver2019.pdf\"><strong>Low Income Charge Request Form<\/strong><\/a> can be seen here.
