Office of Health Education
The Office of Health Education provides consultation and technical assistance to Division of Public Health programs—and to the public—about health education, health promotion, and social marketing to promote health.
The office also is responsible for administering the Delaware Behavioral Risk Factor Survey (BRFS) and two school-based surveys, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and School Health Profiles. These surveys provide behavioral risk factor data which are essential for planning, implementing, and evaluating effective health promotion programs in the state.
