health centers see insured, under-insured and uninsured patients. Most centers bill their patients on a sliding fee scale, based on the

Provides a hospital-based comprehensive family health office, including obstetric and newborn care through Tiny Steps, a program for low-income pregnant women, staffed by resident doctors providing health screening, diagnosis, and treatment to patients of all ages. The Tiny Steps program is also offered at the Newark location.
The Saint Clare Outreach Program is a mobile van staffed by a doctor, a registered nurse and one assistant that travels to different locations in Wilmington to serve the homeless and others in need.

Provides primary health care and preventative services for all individuals of all ages, along with a variety of social services. Services include prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and elder primary care medicine and preventive programs: diabetes education, immunizations for children, routine school and sports physicals, HIV and other sexually transmitted disease testing and counseling, cancer screening, family planning, mental health counseling, preventative, routine and emergency oral health services, and prescription assistance.
Medicare and Medicaid is accepted and the center participates with most local employer sponsored commercial insurance plans. Application assistance is available for Medicaid, Community Healthcare Access Program (CHAP) and other programs. A sliding fee scale discount program is offered to qualified uninsured individuals. Staff is bilingual in English and Spanish. Translation and transportation services are
also available.
