    Apply or Manage Your Child Support Case

    Whether you’re applying for child support services or managing an existing case, you have secure, online tools available to help you stay informed and in control.

    The Delaware Child Support Portal makes it easy to:

    • Apply for child support services
    • Update your contact or employment information
    • View appointments, including court hearings
    • Make payments or view payment history
    • Receive select notices electronically

    You’ll need to complete a two-step registration process to access your account.

    How to Register

    Step 1: Create Your My.Delaware Account

    1. Go to https://my.delaware.gov
    2. Click “Sign Up.”
    3. Fill in all required fields and click Register.
      Don’t use a work email address—State and Federal email domains will not work.
    4. Save your User ID and Password for future logins.

    Step 2: Add the DCSS App

    1. In your My.Delaware dashboard, click Add Apps, then search for DCSS.
      – If you’re new, add DCSS App Services.
      – If you already have a case, add the DCSS Customer Portal.
    2. The app will be added to your My Apps menu—just click to launch the portal.

    Keep Your Information Updated

    Even if you don’t currently receive payments, it’s important that we have your most up-to-date information:

    • Social Security Number
    • Date of Birth
    • Phone Number
    • Current Mailing Address

    If you’ve moved, you can:

    • Call (302) 577-7171, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to update your address, or
    • Submit a completed Change of Address Form to:
      Division of Child Support Services
      P.O. Box 15012
      Wilmington, DE 19850

    Other important forms:

    The Automated Assistance Line is available 24/7 in English and Spanish. You’ll need your case number to access case-specific information.

    Receiving Support Payments

    When you have a child support case, you can choose how you receive your payments—either Direct Deposit or the ReliaCard®. You must choose one. You cannot enroll in both.

    Direct Deposit

    Secure, convenient, and free—Direct Deposit is the fastest way to receive your child support payments.

    Benefits:

    • No paper checks to wait for or misplace
    • Avoid check cashing fees
    • Payments go directly into your checking or savings account

    Prepaid Debit Card (ReliaCard®)

    The U.S. Bank ReliaCard® is a prepaid debit card that receives funds whenever child support is applied to your case.

    Benefits include:

    • No bank account needed
    • No credit check required
    • No paper checks to wait for or cash
    • Use anywhere Debit Mastercard® is accepted

    Funds are typically available within 3 business days after payment is applied.
