    Low Vision Program

If vision loss makes daily activities more difficult, DVI’s Low Vision Program may help you make the most of your remaining usable sight. Whether your personal goals are to read a book, watch television, return to work, travel independently, or simply feel more confident with daily activities, we can help. We’ll work with you to find solutions that fit your life.

    How we help

    The Low Vision Program includes:

    • Personalized evaluation by a low vision specialist
    • Support from vision rehabilitation professional who will help you apply new tools and techniques to your daily routine
    • Recommendations for tools that match your lifestyle and vision needs, such as:
      • High-powered reading glasses
      • Magnifiers for books, recipes, or medication labels
      • Telescopic lenses to help you watch TV or read street signs
      • Binoculars for seeing distance objects like bus numbers or whiteboards

Many of the devices we recommend are more advanced than what you will find at a typical pharmacy or online. We’ll help you choose the right tools to help you stay independent, active and do the things that are important to you.
