The mission of the Office of Emergency Medical Services is to assure a comprehensive, effective and efficient statewide emergency medical care delivery system in order to reduce morbidity and mortality. The OEMS will accomplish this by:
- Building partnerships with pre-hospital providers and healthcare systems,
- Utilizing evidence-based treatments, and
- Evaluating the emergency medical services system through comprehensive data review on the effectiveness of patient care and system performance.
