      Family SHADE’s website provides important information in a single place for families of children with disabilities and chronic health conditions. It includes information on events and workshops across the state, as well as a searchable database of resources.Families can also call Family SHADE’s new hotline, 855-755-SHADE (7423) to receive help navigating the website, as well as to receive help searching the database or connecting with services. The hotline is staffed by parents of children with disabilities and chronic health conditions.

      Caring for children with special needs is often complex, and Delaware Family Voices and the Family to Family Health Information Center is in the unique position to help. Like you, we are parents of children and young adults with physical, developmental and mental health challenges, and we have firsthand experience navigating the maze of health care services and programs in our state. We help families of children with special needs become informed, experienced, and self-sufficient advocates for their children and themselves. There is no charge for the services we provide.
