    Whether you’re just starting your journey into the workforce or looking to re-enter after age 55, Delaware offers employment programs that can help you gain skills, build confidence, and find meaningful work.

    Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

    If you’re 55 or older and want to rejoin the workforce, SCSEP offers paid, part-time job training and work experience to help you transition into long-term employment.

    • Work experience at nonprofit or community organizations
    • Job search assistance and training workshops
    • Supportive services to help you stay on track
    • A stepping stone to permanent employment

    You may be eligible if you:

    • Are 55 or older
    • Live in Delaware
    • Have income at or below 125% of the federal poverty level

    Priority is given to those who are veterans, age 65+, have a disability, speak limited English, or face other barriers to employment.
